The FRMES Guidebook is only a starting point for exploring integration of ecosystem services into federal agency and other decision processes. The intent of this community dialogue page is to facilitate continuing conversation about new and ongoing efforts in this arena. Please share relevant and constructive comments, questions, or challenges associated with these efforts as well as links to additional resources such as papers, articles, guidance, and case studies that others may find helpful. All submissions will be reviewed by a moderator before being posted to the page.
Dear users of the FRMES guidebook,
We are very excited to launch our new online resource on incorporating ecosystem services into natural resource management decisions. We hope you find it helpful. We would like to take advantage of our community dialog page to get your input and feedback on a few things.
First, we would love your ideas and collaboration to build upon the foundation we hope this guidebook provides. We are looking for ideas and partners for expanding to other audiences and users, and for developing detailed examples to help practitioners through the process.
Second, we welcome your specific ideas and input for references or sections to add to the guidebook or thoughts on changes that we should make. We also welcome your partnership in helping us make this happen. We are already working with new experts to add some additional
sections.
Third, we would like to gauge interest in development of trainings and workshops on ecosystem services methods. And if there is interest, we welcome ideas for how best to move this forward.
Thanks for your ideas and insights. We look forward to hearing from you.
